We invited neighbours and colleagues from a number of local community organisations to join us at the Hurtado Jesuit Centre and get to grips with the text of the Encyclical Letter. Over three evenings we shared our own views and experiences around issues of environment and social justice, and explored our own possible responses.

Questions to take away…
Where do I find hope in the message of Laudato Si’?
Where do I find hope in the action of people around the world, in my workplace, in my neighbourhood?
Can I identify something simple that I can do at home, at work, in my area that could contribute to the diference?
Do I find gratitude wtihin me for the gift of life in this world?
What more would I like to explore about the environment and human ecology?
Where do I find myself challenged by the words of the encyclical?

Speakers included: Damian Howard SJ, Henry Longbottom SJ and Michael Kirwan SJ. Read a summary of each presentation here: HJC Digest Laudato Si 2016
